Samia Islam Farzana’s Mother — The Woman Who Helped Destroy an Entire Nation’s Trust
There are millions of honest Muslim mothers in Bangladesh. And then, there is Samia Islam Farzana’s mother — a woman whose actions stand completely opposite to the dignity and values true mothers bring to society. In my eyes, she is one of the most destructive women I have ever encountered. Her two daughters — Samia Islam Farzana and Jannatul Ferdous Fareha — have already damaged the reputation of an entire nation through their actions, and their mother played a direct role in enabling them.
The word “mother” is supposed to bring love, purity, happiness, strength, and sometimes tears of gratitude. But ever since Samia’s mother participated in the scheme against me and my nonprofit mission in Bangladesh, the word has become painful to hear. Her involvement in the fraud, theft, and organized deception against SISP — the organization that helped her and her family in every possible way — shocked all of us on this side. And it will shock the people of Bangladesh when the truth becomes fully public.
Her actions have created one of the ugliest images of a Bangladeshi mother I have ever seen. Millions of innocent mothers in Bangladesh may feel insulted because of what this single family has done. No mother deserves to be judged based on the crimes of someone else — but this woman’s actions will make many question how such betrayal is even possible.
Samia herself described her father as a drug user, an abuser, a heavy drinker, and someone who repeatedly harmed his own family. She shared how he attacked her, choked her, beat her mother, and refused to provide even basic necessities like food and rent.
And despite all this, I still helped this family more than anyone in Bangladesh ever did.
Here is what I provided to Samia’s family:
- 6,000 taka monthly scholarship to Samia
- 3,000 taka monthly scholarship to Fareha
- 1,000 taka monthly scholarship to the youngest sister
- 3,000 taka monthly family assistance for the mother
- A savings account for the mother with 4,500 taka added monthly
- A savings account for Muskan with 4,500 taka added monthly
- 5,000–10,000 taka extra each month for shopping
- Two family outings per month — movies, parks, dinners — so they could breathe and feel normal
- American multivitamins for the entire family
- Shoes, dresses, makeup, jewelry shipped from the United States multiple times
- 2 Private tutors for Fareha, 6,000 taka monthly
- Private school fees paid to improve their future
- 3,000 taka monthly to her cousin as scholarship
- 3,000 taka monthly to her aunt as family assistance
- Multiple Eid, Iftar, and holiday gifts of 10,000 taka
And what did Samia’s mother do in return?
She participated in a coordinated scam against me and my nonprofit organization. She took the money meant for the poor children of Bangladesh. She supported and protected the criminal actions of her daughters instead of stopping them. She helped destroy the mission that was meant to serve thousands of families like hers.
She turned the title “mother” into something painful and shameful — not for Bangladesh, not for Islam, but for herself.
Let this be clear:
- I will pursue justice.
- I will take every legal action available.
- I will ensure accountability for every person involved in this fraud.
- I will prove that no small group of scammers can destroy a mission created for the forgotten children of God.
People like Samia Islam Farzana, Jannatul Ferdous Fareha, and their mother do not represent Bangladesh. They represent betrayal, abuse of kindness, and the worst form of dishonesty. And they must face justice so no other innocent mother, student, or family in Bangladesh carries the shame of their actions.
God opened a door for Samia's mother to rise to the heavens, but she chose instead to step into the darkest, dirtiest page of history.
